While this Nation has their eyes on the wars over seas, pre occupied with gas prices and the potential threat of another attack on our Nation from Terrorists, our computers have been infiltrated with an equally sinister terrorist, known as “Child Predators”.
As the majority of individuals who utilize computers and access the Internet, the most annoying thing is Pop Up advertisements. So much so that the various ISP’s have developed “Pop Up Blockers”. So you are not bombarded with non-sense advertisements.
Let me tell you what Pop Up advertisements contain. Child Pornography, Volusia County Sex Crimes Unit located in Daytona Beach, Florida investigated a case. Captain Dave Hudson, Lt. Wayne Barrs and Investigator Steve White and their investigation rendered, Pop Up advertisements contained photos of children who had been molested, some of the photo’s depicting them with their abusers. Members of my community have confided in me that they have, without solicitation on their part have seen Pop Up advertisements depicting children hit their system and out of fear of being falsely accused, destroyed their hard drives. This conduct only aids and abides the predators and allows them more freedom to continue committing their crimes against our children and continues to endanger the Internet public to charges of possession of Child pornography.
In addition located on this website, is a confirmation e-mail from PROTECT – The National Association to PROTECT Children, in which the Executive Director acknowledges they have been apprised of this conduct since 2003 and he addressed Congress in relation to this horrid criminal activity of advertising Child Pornography in Pop Up Ads. Yet, for years this criminal activity continues to proliferate and continues to ENDANGER EVERY INNOCENT INTERNET USER TO CHARGES OF POSSESSION AND THIS INCLUDES YOU.
My outrage for this motivated me to take action, so I devised a legally required petition in July 2006 to abolish Pop Up advertisements to stop Child Predators at their source of “advertising” Child Pornography (which violates Federal Law) for Law Enforcement Agencies in this Nation. I am not purporting this will cease the conduct of Predators, but it will drastically reduce their “operation”, and potentially save some children from this abuse.
In addition, spare innocent people from being arrested for possession. Because you see, your ISP blocker will block the material, but it writes the Child Pornography image to your hard drive and there it remains. You don’t even know it.
Our police departments are over worked, under paid and horrifically under appreciated. They have sustained tremendous budget cuts which has constrained their ability to serve and protect our communities. It is now left up to “we” the community, nation wide to step up to the task of assisting our police departments as they rise up to combat Child Predators and Child Pornography on the Internet and rectify the attack upon our children by Predators.
Predators have become outrageously aggressive and I propose to counter their measure with these solutions.
